New England Hot Dog Company Appears in Boston Magazine; Hot dog maven Eddie Andelman points the way to six of his favorite wiener joints
BEVERLY, MA – . New England Hot Dog Company, purveyor of gourmet “haute” dogs made with your choice of 10 kinds of hot dogs and more than 48 possible toppings, is showns as one of Eddie Andelman’s favorite hot dog restaurants in the May 2007 edition of Boston Magazine.
In the aticle in which Eddie Andelman named is six favorite “weiner joints” he said about New England Hot Dog Company;
A local joint that looks like a chain, thanks to its drab, generic tables.
The dog: Customers choose kosher, skinless, footlong, or all-beef and add any of 45 toppings, like Ipswich Ale mustard.
Eddie says: “They use real butter on their roll. But they microwave it. The only thing that should go in the microwave is popcorn. And maybe bacon.”
Eddie could eat: Three Provincetowns (a dog with mozzarella).
