New England Hot Dog Company Signs First Three Franchises; Stores to Open in Taunton, Everett, MA., Norwalk, Conn.

BEVERLY, MA – New England Hot Dog Company, purveyor of gourmet “haute” dogs made with your choice of 10 kinds of hot dogs and more than 48 possible toppings, today announced the signing of three additional franchises to be located in Taunton and Everett, Mass. and Norwalk, Conn.

The flagship store, located in Marblehead, MA., opened in June, to enthusiastic crowds and continues to do a brisk business. The concept is simple: gourmet hotdogs, unleashed. Who can resist a new twist on an old favorite?

“We see New England Hot Dog Company as an exciting new concept which will have a lot of appeal,” said Steve Cushinsky, President of Lucky Dogs, LLC, a new franchisee of New England Hot Dog Company. “Who doesn’t like hot dogs and ice cream? Furthermore, the restaurant design and business system developed by New England Hot Dog Company’s management team is first rate.”

Sandy Randon, one of the partners in DogPound Inc., the franchisee at Northwoods Crossing in Taunton, MA was attracted to New England Hot Dog Company after visiting the Marblehead store. “As an owner of my own high tech businesses, I focus on quality of product and service. I tried the product and the bottom line is that the product is good and fun,” he said. “I was looking for a business opportunity and wanted to go with a company that is growing. This franchise has all the right things.”

Customers of New England Hot Dog Company can enjoy the comfort of a New England themed family restaurant with the added fun of discovering new twists on that proven cultural icon, the hot dog. For dessert, Brigham’s Ice Cream, a proven New England brand, is on the menu.

The whimsical menu, with a variety of gourmet dogs named for places around New England, is coupled with an incredibly efficient business system and first-class customer service.

Lucky Dogs, LLC of Beverly Mass. is scheduled to open its first franchise in Everett, MA at 1940 Revere Beach Parkway. Lucky Dogs, LLC is headed by Steven Cushinsky and Mario Ricciadelli of Marblehead, have also hired a food service veteran, Ray Bean of Marblehead to manage operations. Bean brings more than 20 years of experience in the food franchise business.

The third new franchisee, MLP Enterprises of Norwalk, Conn. will be opening be opening at 314 Westport Ave. Norwalk. MLP is headed by another food service veteran, Michael Pucci of Norwalk.
